On behalf of the committee and all members of Matlock Canoe Club (past and present) I would like to thank Pete Montgomery (Pedro) for organising such an inspiration evening to celebrate Matlock Canoe Club’s 40th anniversary.
Pedro please pass on our thanks to Andy for coming all the way from New Zealand to be with us last night. Please also thank our founder members who came along with tales of how it all started.
Now there is just 3 months left of the year for me to organise that Vintage slalom that I’ve been thinking about all year. So dust off your wooden paddles and patch up your 4m boats just in case it happens!
Thanks again to Pedro for making last night a success. And thanks to Stewart for the delicious pizzas.
