Pool Sessions

Every few weeks we have the opportunity to book the outdoor pool at the New Bath Hotel. The pool is emptied and cleaned the next day so this means that we are allowed to take in boats that have been used on the river. The pool is fed by thermal spring water and is untreated so there will be no damage to your canoe kit from chlorine.

Booking is essential – if you would like to book a place, please let me know at least two weeks before and I will then confirm your place when I know if there is enough interest to book it.

There is no formal coaching available at these sessions, just the opportunity to practice skills in safe, warmish water. You will need to bring your own boat and kit to these sessions.

Dates for 2024 are: 21/4/24, 19/5/24, 16/6/24, 14/7/24, 11/8/24 and 8/9/24.

Time: 5:00 – 6:00

Cost: £10 for Club members and BC members

This session is also open to all local canoe clubs who are affiliated to BC.
