Paddle Peak River Clean. Black Bag Friday Part 3. March 6th. 9am – 4pm

The Paddle Peak crew are heading out cleaning our river again this Friday around Matlock Town. The aim is to remove more of the black plastic debris left over from the  hundreds of hay bales that were washed into the river during last year’s floods, as well as debris washed down during the recent storms.

Meet: Matlock McDonalds ( RH side of car park ). 9am.
Arrange shuttle of vehicles to Artist Corner.
Our goal is to clean up through town and Hall Lees Park ready for the spring.

Come and help if available. An on and off the water team would be ideal. Please note, only experienced paddlers with full winter WW gear and safety equipment on the water. If you want to help on the bank please wear full winter waterproof, warm gear and buoyancy aids.

Bring hand wash, gloves and bin bags. Lunch, snacks and hot drinks too.

Huge thanks in advance.

Paddle Peak. Cleaning the river. Saving the sea….
Best Wishes

See you on the water!!
